Twice Highly Commended in ESA's Astro Pi program: algorithms running aboard the International Space Station, reading clouds, pollution, and atmospheric gravity waves.

Then the code had to cross a continent.

I was Solis's race engineer, calling strategy live from the chase car: telemetry, solar and battery models, and machine-learned power prediction across the Australian Outback.
